This a music game about student sharing particular aspects of their lives and seeing what they do and don't share with others.

Purpose of this lesson:

This is a game about sharing or disclosing particular aspects of our lives and learning who else has a similar aspect. Learn about what is an appropriate level of disclosure and what is inappropriate.

Learning to treat others differences respectfully.

Materials:

This is usually done with two drumming sticks, but is can be done with shakers, just the hands. Sticks ready can translate into any instrument.

Directions:

First teacher models, "Rumble with me if you like pizza."

Model topics appropriate to the level of sharing for this group and its particular context

In a school setting use more general safe topics such as food, pets, sports, hobbies

If the group is safe and respectful enough, you can move to more personal topics such as:
Rumble with me if ... you ever felt lonely? "

Rumble with me if ... you ever got mad and did something that you wish that you didn't?

"Rumble with me if ... you helped someone who was having a hard time?"
