Purpose of this lesson:
Gives students practice in regulating their own nervous system.
Give time to integrate learning and experience from the session.
This is an active way to settle a class
Teach meditation and mindfulness
Give time for students to hear instruments and receive in an available receptive state.
Give a context for teachers to express their innate musicality
Learn to be respectful of others.

Directions:
"You can sit, or lay down. You can keep you eyes open or you can close them. I do ask that you don't bother your class mates. Let them rest."
Glitches:
- A student tries to get the attention of an other student.
- Have that student come and be near a teacher.
- Take over the problem
- Student can not stay settled for long or at all
- Teach a rhythmic breathing; them student focus on rhythm breathing.
- Have students image the music as a story
- Give strong acknowledgement for those students who can get quiet and still. "It is wonderful that you can stay quiet and still even when other haven't learned to yet."
Needs Met:
