Aiming, and bouncing a ball to another person is a huge neurologic feat, one we can easily take for granted.

Purpose of this lesson:
Passing games help to master space- how far, time- how long, and energy- how hard
Students learn to attend to the quality of contact on the pass- too hard, too soft, too fast.

Directions:
Best to start this lesson when the class is already well regulated via other activities.
Model- ask Co Teacher to join you. In location where all the students can see you actions.
Using the small ball model 'Meeting, Beating and Dead Fish'
Name and discuss the rules for using the small balls.
These activies are about developing a particular mastery. While we do these games and exercises, no ball should bouces any higher than their neck.
If a ball gets loose do not kick it to someone.
If you are throwing a ball to someone, get their eye contact and bounce the ball.
We are focusing on bouncing the ball to someone so that they can catch it.
Be aware of any vulnerable lights, glass, plants, painting. Be sure to be in a secure area or only allow activities equal to the amount of regulation that students actually have.
Do not intercept a ball that someone it bouncing to an other.
It is perfectly ok to trap a ball rather than catch it. [explain]
